*\*\*\*\*IMMEDIATE STARTS\*\*\*\**AM2PM GROUP are looking to recruit a Casemaker Operative for our prestigious client in the Accrington area.

Responsibility for the setting, operation and routine maintenance of the automated case-making lines. Fulfilling the role of a General Factory Operative as required.


Key duties:

  • Setting of fully automated casemaking lines according to safe operating procedures.
  • Operation of fully automated casemaking lines according to safe operating procedures.
  • Supervision and assistance with palletisation on casemaking lines to correct specifications.
  • Maintenance of casemakers in line with daily PPM requirements.
  • Quality control and manufacture according to specifications to include board quality, cut quality, product make up, case style, print colour, print quality, bundle and pallet specification.
  • Cleaning of casemakers in line with batch and daily requirements.
  • Moving palletised product as required using hand pallet trucks.
  • Managing and clearing production waste.
  • Highlighting of quality and maintenance issues to management.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork as directed.
  • Wear PPE provided at all times
  • Awareness and adherence to all relevant policies and procedures in operation on the factory floor and on the site.
*Pay Rate*£10 whilst training rising to £10.50 once trained

*Shift Pattern:

  • Mon
  • Thursday 7am4pm and Friday 7am1pm
*To be considered for this role you must have/be:

  • Hygiene, Health and safety training.
  • Adequate mobility and dexterity.
  • Familiarity with company recording leaping and systems.
  • Supervision of staff.
  • Operation of automated processed controlled machinery.
  • Familiarity with FEFCO CODES.
  • Understanding of key production metrics.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical principles.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Good presentable appearance and standards of hygiene.
  • Ability to work to instructions.
  • Good timing keeping.
  • Ability to work to timetables and schedules.
  • Flexibility and diligence.
