The Company:

Office Pantry is on a mission to make people happier and more productive at work.

We deliver fresh fruit, healthy snacks, milk, drinks, craft beer and more to companies nationwide, many of whom you will be familiar with.

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced produce buyer to come and lead the purchasing of fruit for us.

This is a part-time role (around 3 days per week), ideal for somebody that has many years in the industry and is looking to have more of a work-life balance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Buy our fresh produce from importers
Buy and collect any remaining fruit not bought directly from Western International Market
Ensuring the fruit is of high quality and wellnegotiated price
Develop strong relationships with importers, farmers and wholesalers
Monitor stock levels to ensure we always have the right amount of fruit with not much wastage
Record purchase prices, quality and wastage weekly to manage the performance
Work with partners who deliver on our behalf to ensure that their fruit is up to our standards

Required Skills:

Fresh produce procurement experience, the more the better
Know all the 'tricks of the trade' within the produce import business
Ability to build strong relationships with fruit sellers and the team internally
Attention to detail and willingness to strive for excellence in producing a consistently highquality product
Willing to get stuck in, offloading fruit and collecting it
Willing to work at night/early mornings
Ability to use a computer and excel or google sheets
Willingness to help with the wider business, a strong team player
Ability to drive a van
Forklift experience useful
