Job responsibilities below:

  • WSUS configuration
- maintenance & support

  • Strong communication and articulation skills
  • Troubleshooting and issue remediation
  • Strong experience at design documentation
  • Handon experience with design and implementation of WSUS for 3+ years
  • WSUS server setup and testing along with establishing connection with database.
  • Experience at WSUS design and deployment
  • Database and storage design and configuration
  • Consideration for Network design
  • Plan and design considerations for number of client connections
  • Strong troubleshooting and break fix skills.
  • Should be able to create SOP documents for first line support.
  • Strong handson experience on security and nonsecurity patch remediation on large scale of Windows server environment through WSUS server
  • Knowledge and experience at Active Directory GPO, network, and firewall requirements
  • Knowledge on different modes of WSUS and upstream/downstream management style
  • Concept of network load balancing with failover SQL cluster for WSUS
knowledge and experience around roaming clients for WSUS in case applicable


Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£350.00-£400.00 per day


Experience:

Microsoft Windows Server: 6 years (preferred)
Active Directory: 6 years (preferred)

  • Configuration management: 6 years (preferred)
  • Azure: 6 years (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (preferred)
