The School of Health and Life Sciences has the largest student body in the University, with a diverse breadth of courses across our Departments of Science, Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions, teaching and delivering services at both our Middlesbrough and Darlington Campuses.


We are seeking a fabulous new team member for our Team who will lead and coordinate our professional administrative support services at our Darlington Campus.

You will be responsible for coordinating the first point of contact for key stakeholders, providing line management supervision and support for our Team based at the Darlington Campus.


Whilst based at Darlington, you will undertake and coordinate provision of support for activities which enable effective and efficient administration, and action, of wider School processes and procedures.


You will have the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues, students and external bodies (both verbally and in writing), ensuring a customer-focus in your work.

You will have recent work experience of a busy administrative office and of managing, coaching or supervising other members of staff.

You will need to work flexibly across our wider activities where required, actively and positively participating.

With an eye for attention to detail and an ability to plan, organise and manage your work effectively, working across a broad section of the Student Lifecycle, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Team.
