We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to support the Supported Living Manager to oversee the set up and running of a new 24-hour mental health supported living service in Nottingham.


About the role:


The service provides 11 flats for people with mental health conditions who may also have other support needs such as a mild learning disability, autism, history of substance misuse, some may have been through the criminal justice system.

You will be working as part of a team consisting of a Supported Living Manager and Support Workers. The service will be run 24 hours with both day and waking night staff. Your time will be split between hands on support and undertaking admin duties.

You will support the manager in the initial set up of the service, recruiting and training of new staff and assessing new referrals, and then the day to day running.

Many of the people placed will have long term needs, so the staff team will get to know them very well.


Hours:

Full time 39 hours per week.

Nottingham.


About you:


We are looking for someone with experience of working in social care and at supervisory level, excellent verbal & written communication skills and excellent IT Skills.

You will have a proven ability to support and supervise others and develop their coaching skills. You will have an understanding of effective budget management. Possession of a current driving licence is desirable.


You will have a QCF or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and a willingness to complete further training including ILM.
