Description
To provide assistance, where necessary, to the Financial Controller, in all areas of the Finance and Controlling areas. Ensure that the plant accounting is properly completed, in line with UK accounting rules and Faurecia procedures.

To maintain and improve controls in all areas of Accounting which includes the maintenance of Standard costing which will require full understanding of the ERP system.

To build a strong liaison/ communications with all Departments within the Company and to challenge the status quo.

In this role you will play a major proactive role and be a key member of the finance team, as well as a vital support to the Financial Controller regarding accounting and controlling.


The main missions of the role are to:

  • Prepare in collaboration with the financial controller the forecasted budgets, cash and P&L
  • Financial Inventory management to include, material price variance reporting, scrap reporting etc
  • Detailed variance analysis of financial data v budgets/forecasts/estimated.
  • Detailed analysis of cost of sales and margin analysis
  • Detailed Self billing analysis ensuring that all sales are charged and paid.
  • Accrual and prepayment calculations with full detailed analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Fixed asset management, additions, disposals and depreciation calculations
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of group reporting requirements to include Magnitude and excel
  • Assist in the implementation of Faurecia Core Procedures
  • Assist in internal and external audits


  • Engineering change

  • VAVE
  • During the pursuit of all duties the code of Ethics will be adheared to at all times.
  • Ideally qualified, but QBE would be considered
  • Full understanding of Inventory accounting, Standard cost management etc.
  • Ability to question and challenge all areas of the business
  • Strong Excel & ERP skills
  • Strong Oracle Financials system experience
  • Key understanding of Group reporting Deadlines
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong teamwork sense
  • Good communication skills
