Customer Hosts are the public face of Museums Northumberland, providing every visitor with a friendly and warm welcome.

As part of a diverse and enthusiastic team, our Customer Hosts are very approachable and have the ability to communicate well with all kinds of people, working effectively, calmly and professionally, even under pressure.

Customer Hosts are responsible for making the visitor experience exceptional through the provision of outstanding customer service, engaging visitors in our heritage, exhibitions, events, activities and guided tours, ensuring that every museum visit is enjoyable, informative, safe and memorable.

Museums Northumberland is now recruiting for an enthusiastic Customer Hosts to join our Visitor Services team at Woodhorn Museum. To succeed in this role you will have previous experience of delivering outstanding customer care.

You will also be expected to have a passion for Northumberland's heritage and need to be a proactive, outgoing, approachable, and confident in being able to provide support to all aspects of daily visitor engagement, from promoting our membership to assisting with activities, events, exhibitions, security and retail sales.
