Contract:

Salary:
Dependent on experience & Bonus Scheme

What will my role look like?
Our ESG Department is expanding and we have an opportunity available for an ESG & Sustainability Coordinator (Apprentice)

The ESG & Sustainability Co-ordinator (Apprentice) will support the ESG & Sustainability team in delivering aspects of EG Group's ESG & Sustainability agenda.

What would my main responsibilities be?

Responsible for carrying out desk research on ESG issues, including benchmarking and peer reviews, analysis of public ESG targets and commitments, etc
Coordinating and updating the Group's ESG action plan across the business; and following up with colleagues across functions on all actions
Responsible for planning a schedule of internal and external ESG comms; and coordinating comms materials across the business eg monthly ESG newsletter, case studies, images, content for social media
Supporting with EG Group's ESG network (community of colleagues from around the business), organising webinars, arranging speakers and topics for discussion
Help to deliver ESG & Sustainability training for colleagues eg on Modern Slavery
Support the ESG team to engage with external partners and stakeholders to guide, deliver and communicate our ESG strategy
Support the ESG & Sustainability projects manage to deliver projects across the business in a broad range of areas from engaging with suppliers to delivering waste reduction activities
