DC Personnel have an exciting permanent opportunity available for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our busy client in Leicester.

As a QA Specialist, your role will centre around ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are being met in foods produced.

Your attention to detail and expertise will be key in maintaining product integrity, and in meeting food safety requirements.

Location:
Leicester

Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off, 6pm - 6am

Salary:
£28,000

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with site procedures and industry regulations
Create and maintain accurate documentation to guide teams in meeting required standards
Review production paperwork for accuracy and completeness
Identify areas for improvement and provide training to enhance quality control processes
Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any faults/damages for further inspection
Conduct hygiene audits to maintain strict cleanliness standards
Report audit findings and make suggestions that contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems
Participate in product quality evaluations and investigations, ensuring adherence to food safety and customer requirements

About you:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Food Hygiene Level 2 certification (minimum)
Strong understanding of Food Safety, Health and Safety, and quality control principles (essential)
Excellent attention to detail and decisionmaking skills
Effective communication and great teamworking abilities
Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel)
Flexibility in working hours to cover team holidays/absences
