Part of a larger global group, this UK business serves c100 employees currently and has growth plans that should see them grow by 50% over the next few years.
As HR goes, it is a basic setup currently but, under the direction of the new Head of HR, will develop into a more purpose led, proactive function - your role will be to support her in improving the basics, as well as the bigger, flashier items of the strategy.
The role is a true generalist role overseeing the entirety of the employee lifecycle - you'll advise managers on ER matters, support the talent attraction and development plan, overseeing onboarding, performance and HR metrics, and take a continuous improvement approach to policy and process.
You will support on a range of projects - the first of which being an overhaul of HR systems and working towards being a recognised employer of choice.
As an ambitious growing business, you'll work on employee engagement initiatives and employee communications to promote a culture of inclusivity, honesty, accountability and performance.
You may at times be faced with HR queries you've not dealt with before, or support on projects in areas you've yet to experience.
The Head of HR is keen to support your development in these areas and provide a working environment for you to grow and thrive as an HR professional.
So, who is the Head of HR looking for?
You'll be an HR Advisor or Senior HR Coordinator with varied experience and a desire to learn, ideally with experience of working with blue and white collar colleagues (distribution, manufacturing, engineering, construction or similar).
You'll have a customer centred, commercial approach to HR and a calm, organised manner - particularly when managing competing priorities.
CIPD or other HR qualification would be advantageous.More jobs from Chambers Talent
