Job Description / Person Specification

Reporting to:
Late Shift SMD Supervisor


Remuneration:
£27.7K to £33.9K per annum _*Inclusive of 30% shift premium & dependent on experience_


Normal working hours: 37hrs / week

Mon - Thurs 16:00-24:00 (half hour lunch)

Fri 16:00-23:30 (half hour lunch)

- *You may be required to train on the day shift for a limited period_

Job Role:

As a CEM Note Windsor manufacture a wide range of PCBAs and Final Assemblies. These range from IPC Class 2 to IPC Class 3 for Automotive and Aerospace customers. Surface mount includes 0201 chip components, BGAs, QFNs to name a few. You will be required to carry out SMD feeder checks, first offs, X-Ray, AOI and manual inspection.


Responsibilities:


  • Visual inspection using scopes & magnifiers.
  • Using inspection equipment such as AOI & X-Ray machines.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials.
  • Continually monitor the process to ensure perfect quality and productivity.
  • You will be required to do first off checks & solder checks.
  • Surface Mount Feeder list checks.
  • Basic computer skills (using our QL system to barcode work from the department)
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards.


  • IPC 610

  • Class 2 and 3 will be a distinct advantage.
