Senior Administrator for our Reading office at Caversham Bridge House (CBH), which is the largest of our 23 offices within the UK & Ireland and is a working hub to 300 people from across the Stantec business.

You will be the primary point of contact for administration support and facilities issues within the office so being approachable and good with people are important qualities.


You will lead the Admin team in CBH (a team of 7 looking after admin and office facilities) to provide an effective and flexible service to support the general office, technical teams/managers and groups.

You will undertake a variety of tasks in addition to providing guidance to less experienced members of staff.

You will be working with lots of people with different requirements and personalities, so it is important to be able to adapt your style as required.

You will report into the Administration Team Lead for that region, who oversees a portfolio of Stantec offices, regionally.


You will need to have an open approach to how you work and there may be occasions when you need to be flexible with your time.

You will need to demonstrate that you have previous experience of working in a busy office environment and have strong computer skills in _Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word_ and _Excel_.

You will have strong communication and organisational skills, alongside a high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to ensure that the best possible service is given to internal and external clients.
