Description

Maintenance Repair Fitter required to ensure operational capability of packaging machinery.

A permanent and demanding position key to company's production.

The role will pay circa £32k depending on experience.

Core hours Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm.

Job Requirements

Work to business production priorities and breakdowns at sites.
Respond to plant downtime to ensure that the plant can maximize throughout.
Responsible for repairing and replacing damaged equipment.
Interrogate, fault find and resolve any problems that are shown on the company's equipment.
Plan, schedule, repair and overhaul of plant & equipment as required during shutdown periods.
Completion of work permits as required and adherence to health and safety standards.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
Participation in special projects as required.

Skills Profile

Fully Qualified / skilled Fitter to work in factory.
Relevant experience in a packaging or similar factory processing equipment desirable.
Flexible and willingness to cover out of hours breakdowns if required occasionally.
Welldeveloped interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams, to interact with production/maintenance colleagues and managers alike.
Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to take and respond to direction as required.
Selfmotivated individual who has strong customer focus and can work on one's own initiative.

Salary:
£31,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
