Description

We are seeking a talented Indirect Procurement Specialist to join on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a balanced and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities:

As the Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing procurement strategies and plans for indirect procurement.

Your main duties will include sourcing and pre-qualifying potential suppliers, issuing enquiries, negotiating contracts and purchase orders, and ensuring timely deliveries and quality adherence within agreed budgets and schedules.

You will work in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and business policies, performing follow-up, control, and progress reporting on contracts, including field and desk expediting.

Building and maintaining strong supplier relations will be essential to your success in this role.

Requirements:

A higher education degree within business and/or engineering. Relevant experience may compensate for the lack of higher education.
Strong technical understanding and commercial acumen.
Good grasp of customer needs and expectations.
A teamplayer attitude, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated strong work ethics and a proactive approach.

Salary:
£55,000.00-£62,000.00 per year
