We are looking for a Civilian Dental Hygienist to join our encouraging and welcoming team at RAF Marham, Kings Lynn.


The post is a part-time position of 21.5 hours per week working 8 hours on both Wednesday and Thursday and 5.5 hours on Friday.

Job description:


Person specification:

Main details of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation for which they are responsible, reporting any deficiencies in accordance with local protocols.
  • Carrying out dental work under the direction of a registered dentist who has examined the patient and indicated in writing the course of treatment to be provided.
  • Cleaning and sterilising all equipment.
  • Recording treatment on each patient's electronic health record on Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP).
  • Using DMICP and other IT systems ensuring patient documentation is available to the clinician during treatment. Maintaining, sorting and disposing of records on completion of treatment.

Qualifications


A knowledge of a range of oral health procedures; acquired through training to degree level or to diploma level plus experience to degree equivalent level.

Selection process details:
