STORES SUPERVISOR - HULL SITE

Thurston Group Ltd are presently recruiting at our Hull Site a Stores Supervisor on a full time, permanent contract.


Job Overview
1) The day to day supervision of all Ottringham based stores personnel.

2) The regular audits of all stock materials, using FIFO principles and stock rotation, ensuring mínimal deterioration.

3) That the goods inwards inspection system is maintained and that suppliers are monitored against the quality assurance standards, raising QA documentation when required.

4) That stocks are held in accordance stock valuation targets.

5) Ensuring that all jobs are kitted to the required date and any shortages are reported for expediting. Liaising with senior departmental supervisors on kit shortages or problems.

6) Close liaison between the Materials department, ensuring that material are ordered and that stock outs do not occur, ensure all computer entries on the MRP system are transacted on the date of receipt or issue.

7) To organise that perpetual stock checks are carried out and that the stock is adjusted in a timely manner, carrying out audit trails wherever possible.

8) The re-ordering of internal parts so that outages do not occur.

9) That inter company materials are delivered on time using the most cost effective means.

10) That any damaged stock is written off and monitored. Material returning from jobs is booked back into stock and located back into the stores.

11) The Supervision of all point of sales orders and spares/warranty work.

12) That there is cover for holidays.

Holiday: 20 days holiday in first full complete year of service rising to 25 days
