We are looking for a Specialised yard operative with a chemical/waste warehousing background and a forklift truck (counterbalance) licence to work on a full-time basis.

Your work will be split between our main yard in Trafford Park and a Customer premises in Eccles.

In this role you will support and work closely with the Site Manager and our onsite Chemists as well as supervise the Yard Operatives daily.

Your tasks will include the management and segregation of waste entering, leaving, and stored on both sites but will also include physical tasks such as washing, drying, cutting, shredding, testing, baling, processing of various plastic and steel containers.

Forklift tasks will include loading and unloading of palletised containers off vehicles as well as general yard organisation.

In this role you will work with Hazardous and non-Hazardous Chemical residues, machinery, and repetitive tasks so a chemical knowledge, good concentration and attention to detail is essential to upkeep our high standard of health and safety and quality to our customers.

The ability to lift 17kg and work outside in open warehouses all year round is a necessity.

Previous chemical and waste experience along with a forklift truck license is essential.

DAY SHIFT - Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday over-time at time and a half.

LATE SHIFT - Hours 2:00pm -10:00pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday over-time at time and a half.

Salary:
£23,500.00 to 25,000.00

Quarterly performance bonuses available.

Full training and PPE will be given to the successful applicant.
