About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well organised and caring individual to join Albyn Housing Society in the HR team.


As a HR Assistant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the HR team deliver an efficient and effective service which supports the organisation to achieve its objectives.

This role will provide excellent customer service by providing first line advice and guidance to internal and external customers on all aspects of HR.


Your role will involve supporting the Head of HR and OD, HR Business Partners and HR Advisor with key duties including providing an effective recruitment process, creating, and issuing contract documentation, project related activities and updating HR digital systems all to a high standard of accuracy and quality and in line with Albyn Housing Group values.

Main Responsibilities

  • To provide efficient and effective administrative service and support to the HR Team, wider organisation, and external customers.
  • To provide an effective and efficient recruitment and selection service ensuring that all aspects of the process are managed within policy, procedure and meet departmental KPI's and SLA's.
  • To accurately update and maintain the HR databases and other IT and HR systems and electronic records.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the HR team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

About You

  • Educated to Higher Grade and/or possess an appropriate Business, HR or Administration related diploma.
  • You will have proven administrative experience and be proficient in using customised databases and software packages such as Microsoft office.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail, be a confident communicator and a positive and supportive team contributor.
  • It is essential that you have the ability to plan and organise your workload whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
