Main responsibilities include:
- Keep a schedule of work as per weekly team prioritisation. Highlight when there is additional capacity for Project Support resources required.
- Research methods and equipment for the development and implementation of standard and new testing and inspection methods and keep comprehensive records of the work done.
- Validate test and inspection methods and related equipment. Including creation of the required QMS documentation.
- Lead sample builds, including the required protocols and reporting.
- Support validation exercises (SAT, FAT, IQOQPQ, CV)
- Owner of relevant NCR and root cause analysis of process and product NC and complaints, particularly when related to product design.
- Test products. I.e. packaging testing, product leak and bond strength testing, etc.
- Ensure timely escalation of issues to Line Manager and Quality where applicable.
- For all tasks, make suggestions for continuous improvement of processes and implement where applicable / requested to do so.
- Adhere to QMS, HSE, and all other company policies and procedures
- Perform any additional tasks as required by the job role from time to time including similar support activities to the wider team: Quality and Production.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
- Demonstrable experience of cGLP and cGMP.
- Three years in a similar role.
- Demonstrable experience of conducting product testing in a GLP environment.
- Demonstrable experience of researching, developing and validating test methods.
- Knowledge of equipment and process validation.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, in particular of controlled trials/process development studies or assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of Standards Applicable to Medical Devices.
- Awareness of MS Project and / or other Project Management techniques.
- Familiarity with statistical methods. Report data in multiple formats.
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English to enable communication with colleagues and to understand technical and QMS related documents.
- Rigorous attention to detail.

- Selfstarter.
