Receptionist - 3 days pw

Southampton


We are looking to recruit an experienced and friendly front of house receptionist to work part time in an office building in central Southampton.

You'll be efficient at managing visitors and following sign in processes; enjoy managing building issues and being the 'go to ' person in the building.


The role will also include responsibility for undertaking pop ups and - so if you are creative and enthusiastic about reaching out to the local business community to find some exclusive offers for everyone working in the building - this could be the role for you.


The role
You will provide a front of house reception service, which will include:

Reception /building responsibilities

  • Providing a warm meet and greet service to all visitors to the building using a sign in portal
  • You will manage a breakout / business hub area adjacent to reception ensuring it remains tidy and stocks replenished
  • Managing deliveries, including couriers and post
  • You will support the offsite Property Management Company by ensuring any building issues are reported and managed to resolution. This will include managing maintenance contractors visiting the building/controlling keys/assisting with alarm and building checks.
  • You will develop a good understanding of the local area and develop a local amenities information file becoming the 'expert' in terms of local knowledge.
  • You will produce a weekly report for key stakeholders

Tenant engagement

  • You will support the sales and leasing agents, working to help promote the vacant office space. You will prepare for viewings by ensuring space is looking pristine and ensure a hospitable welcome to potential occupiers.
  • You will also find out what's happening locally and reach out to the local businesses to find supporting offers and deals.
  • You will develop a regular enewsletter for tenants to communicate activities and drive participation.
  • Manage the buildings social media accounts, ensuring content is brand specific and signed off

About you

  • You will be personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
  • You will be selfmotivated and willing to take on additional activities as part of the reception role.
  • You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be PC competent with knowledge of social media and willing to learn new software apps
  • You will enjoy working independently as part of the reception job share
  • You will previously have worked in a premium, corporate front of house reception role or customer service, marketing, or sales environment.

The hours and salary

Hours:
Monday - Wednesday 09.00am - 5.00pm


Salary:
£13,728 pa part time (24 hours).

Flexibility required to provide cover for holidays and sickness

No weekends

Free parking on site
