Bereavement Team Administration Assistant
We currently have a vacancy for a Bereavement Team Administration Assistant.
This is a full time role working 40 hours a week.
Summary of Job
To assist the bereavement team with the day to day running of the department, to include general administration duties, answering the telephone and probate file administration.
Main responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls, deal with simple enquiries or otherwise transfer to relevant member of the team
- Managing the team's diaries and appointments
- Greeting clients arriving at the office for appointments with the team or taking delivery of paperwork
- Retrieval of Wills from storage ready for release
- Filing of documents
- Archiving of files
- General photocopying and scanning
- Release Wills via post including typing of covering letters
- Dealing with the cancellation of registered LPA's
- Deal with incoming post including scanning to Virtual Cabinet
- Sending outgoing post
- General administration of probate files
- Scanning of completed files
- Restocking of stationery
- Dealing with the storage of property deeds
Technical and essential skills
- Experience in using Office 36
- Outlook/Word/Excel
- A strong work ethic with very good customer service skills
- A friendly manner and the ability to work as part of a team
Salary:
£18,800.00-£24,800.00 per year
