7:30-5:00pm + overtime (enhanced rate) Mon-Fri
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that offers you growth and training in a friendly working environment?

We are currently looking for a Yardsman to join a growing team.

In this role, you will be given a comprehensive training program that will help you progress your career opening up further opportunities.

The Yard operative role includes the maintenance and testing of a steel workshop yard and products.

Responsibilities:

Unloading delivery stock steel
Checking quality and marking items up
Keeping stock together and catalogued
Pat testing (full training provided)
Helping with equipment stores
Assisting the storeman

This role includes outside work in a busy yard where you will be provided with full PPE. To be successful in this role you will need to be

Active and willing to learn and develop
Previous yardsman experience desirable.
Forklift license
