Rowan Foods is part of the Oscar Mayer Group, a Wrexham-based UK-wide company specialising in manufacturing prepared foods for the top UK grocery retailers.

We are currently recruiting for Technical Operators to join our expanding Packing Department. We are progressing into the automation of our packing lines and are leading the industry in automation.

Main Responsibilities:_

Concise setting up of semiautomatic sleeving machines.
Conducting changeovers to different products.
Basic Repairing of machinery problems and fault finding.
Adjusting Machine settings to achieve the best results and reduce time lost.
Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance.
Working with coding machines and sensors.

Skills required:_

Minimum 2 years' experience of setting up machines within the packing industry.
Experience in working with printing and coding machines will be advantageous but not essential.
Mechanical knowledge.
Basic understanding of packing machinery.
Problem solving
Punctual and reliable
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Flexibility.
