Internal Account Manager

Due to our rapid growth, we are currently recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join our highly successful sales function.

You will manage and grow a territory of customers and prospects to achieve company growth targets while ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered in every respect.

This role grants real autonomy and offers an excellent scope for progression and personal development.


Key requirements:

Building strong and profitable partnerships with customers, providing solutions, and giving first-class customer service at every touch point of the sales process
Rapid response to customer price and invoice queries following up every quote with accuracy and efficiency.
Proactive outbound calls, securing new customers to achieve growth target.
Regular customer profitability and spend gap analysis to increase spending and GP.
Contacting suppliers to source special orders and further enhance product knowledge.
Building relationships across between internal departments to foster clear and collaborative communication.


Requirements:

Proven track record of building relationships and exceeding targets
2 years minimum sales experience within an inbound/ outbound sales role

Timing is everything - we need an individual who is hungry but also efficient at responding to any customer query to outpace the competition.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
Construction knowledge desirable but not essential
Strong IT skills and fully competent with Outlook
Be able to commute to our Dartford Head Office 5 days a week

c. £40,000 PA Plus uncapped Bonus
