Your new company:

A supportive, thriving professional services based business in Preston, who pride themselves on local reputation and providing their service to a variety organisations up and down the country, in a variety of sectors.

This company are now seeking a professional Credit Controller to join their vibrant finance team to support them in chasing overdue debt and maintaining the Sales Ledger.

You will report to the Senior Credit Controller and will be responsible for internal and external stakeholder engagement.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced credit controller who wants to embark on a new challenge and really make an impact within the business in this crucial role.

How you'll spend your time_**:
_

Monitor and report ledgers against credit limits
Maintain ledger balance with agreed limit
Posting and allocating daily receipts to SAGE accounting system
Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
Providing customer balance information to internal and external stakeholders in the form of statements
Maintain credit limits in the form of weekly balance checking and reporting any increase requirements to the Credit Control Supervisor
Escalate any potential customer/payment issues

This opportunity will be great for you if.

You have at least 1 year experience in credit control
You have completed AAT Level 2 as a minimum
You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for resolving queries
You have experience in both internal and external stakeholder engagement
