We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic and self
- otivated individual to be part of our Asset and Surveying Team. You will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and with a 'get the job done' attitude.

The role of the Stock Condition Surveyor is critical to maintaining and upgrading the Councils Housing stock.

You will work as part of a team required to investigate, assess and record the materials, age and condition of Council housing assets, ensuring you collect and record information accurately.


  • Is highly motivated with a 'cando' attitude and prepared to 'roll up their sleeves' and make things happen
  • Can prioritise and successfully manage their own workload
  • Has excellent building pathology and general building surveying skills
  • Has excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Has a strong attention to detail
  • Be a contributing member of the team and develop productive and collaborative relationships across all parts of the council
  • Has experience of undertaking property inspections and using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System

Qualifications:


  • Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or have significant experience within relevant fields
  • HHSRS qualified.
