Peace Recruitment is working with a reputable construction company known for delivering exceptional projects across Scotland.

With a commitment to quality and innovation, they are seeking a skilled Site Agent to lead our team on an exciting commercial build project in Methil.

As a Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of our commercial build project in Methil


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daytoday site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Leading, coordinating, and motivating onsite teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Utilizing your expertise in traditional build methods, precast walls, mechanical and electrical systems, and steel frames to drive project excellence.
  • Collaborating closely with project stakeholders including engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure effective communication and goal alignment.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure construction quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of project activities, materials used, and site progress.
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed rigorously to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial build projects.
  • Indepth knowledge of traditional construction methods, precast wall installation, mechanical and electrical systems, and steel frame assembly.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage onsite teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving abilities to address challenges promptly.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or related field are desirable.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£27.00-£30.00 per hour
