Technical Sales Engineer required in Farnborough 35-40k pa, free parking and an early finish on a Friday

Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, the Technical Sales Engineer, will work as part of a strong team and be responsible for direct sales/support of the Company's portfolio of products.

As the Technical Sales Engineer you will benefit from:

Salary of 35-40k depending on experience
25 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays)
8:30am5pm Monday Thursday and 2:30pm on Friday

As the Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for:

To establish and maintain contact with potential and existing customers at all levels within their organisations.
To develop good personal relationships with these key contacts in order that our products can be selected and specified at the earliest opportunity.
To follow up all enquiries for the companies products and services, converting them into contracts/orders in a professional manner.
To evaluate competitive situations and recommend appropriate tactics.
To know the competition and their business activities, strengths and weaknesses.
Must be willing and able to travel within and outside UK, so a full driving license is required.
Experience working in electronics/instrumentation or mechanical engineering.
Ideally from a field service background.
Understanding of quality, cost and efficiency.
Excellent customer service experience with creative problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: accurate, clear and concise.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
Recognised engineering qualifications.
