About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the learning and progress of a class of 27 children. You will have support from a teaching assistant who will be able to work with groups and run interventions.

You will be expected to:

Have excellent knowledge of the Year 2 Curriculum
Prepare children effectively for the KS1 SATs at the end of the academic year
Uphold the Christian values of the school
Set and hold high expectations of behaviour in line with the school policy
Develop positive working relationships with staff and parents to enhance children's progress within the classroom
Use a variety of techniques and resources to engage children in different topics
Make necessary adjustments within the classroom and differentiate learning for different needs
Make use of a variety of formative and summative assessment techniques to inform future planning and fill gaps in learning

You will be fully supported by a strong team of staff who work well together.

The school has great facilities and you will be provided with a well resourced classroom with access to technology for staff and children.
