Job Description - Building Preservation Surveyor

Richardson & Starling - Dundee and surrounding areas

With a network of 16 branches across Scotland and the North of England, we offer a comprehensive range of property preservation and repair services to property owners, building professionals, local businesses, and local authorities.

Role

We are now looking to employ a Building Preservation Surveyor to become part of our team.

Full Time/Permanent - Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 17:00pm & Friday, 08:00am to 16:00pm.


Salary:
Competitive.

  • Carry out surveys in domestic, commercial ,local authority and social housing properties.
  • Compile detailed comprehensive reports and accurate quotations using word and excel templates.
  • Develop new and retain existing client base.
  • Promoting and selling of company products and services.
.Day to day contact with team members and office staff.

Knowledge, Experience & Requirements

  • CSRT CSTDB
  • Certified Surveyor of Timber and Damp in Buildings
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Sales experience, preferably within the construction industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Extremely motivated and passionate about delivering high levels of service to our current and potential clients with good Networking skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Being able to work as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
