Travel Assistance Assessment Officer - London Borough of Havering

- 6+ Month Ongoing Contract

Rate - Negotiable - Please send your CV with the rate of pay you require

Essentials:


  • Experiencing of working alongside and supporting individuals or families from a variety of backgrounds, and with varying abilities, strengths and needs, in a positive, personcentered way
  • Experience of developing and undertaking strengthsbased eligibility assessments, positive risk assessments or reviews
  • Experience of working with individuals and organisations to find solutions to complex issues
  • Experience of working constructively and sympathetically with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their parents/guardians

Job Role:


  • Providing personalised travel solutions to residents
  • Ensuring people receive a good service and are supported as necessary
  • Promoting the welfare and independence of children, young people and their families
  • Building positive relationships with families and developing community cohesion
  • Progressing partnerships with external organisations including schools, colleges and local charities
  • Promoting sustainable ways of working and delivering support
