Part-time Opportunity (0.5 FTE) - Health and Safety Advisor (Biological and Chemical)

Venn Group are working with an established University to recruit for a Health and Safety Advisor who will provide support in achieving statutory health and safety compliance.

Salary:
£38,141 - £41,307 (Pro-rata)

- carry out risk assessments, as well as health and safety monitoring audits and inspections
- provide reports and follow-ups after investigating accidents and incidents on site
- support all functions within the H&S office, and other departments with Chemical, Biological and Radiation Safety
- a H&S qualification, ideally Level 6 Diploma, in Occupational Health and Safety with experience in a scientific work environment
- knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and laws
