The Methodist Church is seeking an independent consultant to lead on the completion of the Church's review of its processes for resolving complaints and conducting disciplinary cases.

Much work has already been undertaken, and an experienced consultant is now required to pull the competing strands together so that a report can be made to the Methodist Conference in June 2024 with recommendations.

Applicants need not be members of the Methodist Church but must be sympathetic to and have an understanding of the mission and aims of the Methodist Church.

Applicants must also show a clear commitment to the principles of Equal Opportunities.

The role is likely to require a time commitment of one or two days a week for a period of six to nine months.

A competitive daily rate will be offered.

The role will be home-based but may also require occasional travel to the Church's office in London to attend face-to-face meetings, for which reasonable travel expenses will be covered.
