Description
Document Controller Duties:
- Document Management: Establish and maintain effective document control systems, procedures, and workflows to ensure accurate recording, storage, retrieval, and distribution of engineering design documents within our platform using our internal software.
- Documentation Compliance: Ensure adherence to company standards and projectspecific requirements for documentation control, including naming conventions, file structures, and document metadata.
- BIM Level 2 Accreditation: Support the integration of BIM processes and standards into the document control workflow, promoting effective collaboration and data exchange among project stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Document Distribution: Coordinate the distribution of controlled documents, both internally within the design team and externally to clients, contractors, and other relevant parties.
- Document Tracking: Track and monitor document progress, ensuring timely review, approval, and signoff by stakeholders, and maintain a comprehensive audit trail of document activities.
- Record Management: Establish and maintain a central repository within BOX for all projectrelated documents, ensuring proper archiving, indexing, and retrieval mechanisms are in place.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the document control function and contribute to the development and implementation of streamlined and efficient document management practices.
Document Controller Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 year's experience in Document Control will be ideal
- Able to work with little supervision, and use initiative, and knowing when to seek advice as appropriate, demonstrating professional behaviour with strong interpersonal skills.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Preston, Lancashire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
