Finance Director - VC backed Tech (Series A) - Remote or Hybrid working (central London)

Cedar have been retained by a leading Venture Capital Firm to find a first Finance hire for a young and scaling B2B Tech company.

With near 40 people and growing - the business already has operations across 4 countries, and is forecasting to 3X in revenue over the next 12 months having just completed their Series A funding round of $12m.

Due to the Series A the business is looking to add a Finance Director to the Senior Leadership Team to report into an experienced CEO & Founder, and work closely with a Partner and lead investor of a London based VC.

This is a hands-on start-up role building a Finance and Pricing function covering management reporting, Cash Management, FP&A, financial modelling, Commercial Finance & Pricing, with the budget to hire right away.

Partnering the CEO you will present to the Board, owning the Board Pack, new business models and supporting future funding rounds as they target a Series B round in the next 18 months.

The role is fully remote but their is the opportunity to work at theCentral London office of the VCs if you prefer hybrid working.

Experience needed to be successful in this role:

Qualified Finance professional
Experience supporting a company going from Series A to Series B
Experience managing or building teams in a scaling Tech related businesses
Gravitas to challenge the Csuite and push back where necessary
Confident navigating through the chaos of a startup business, with a flexible approach to ever changing demands from the business and investors
