Summary

This is a part time position (32.5 hours) linked to a child with SEND, starting school in September.

The hours of working are Monday to Friday 8.40am until 3.30pm with time out of the classroom for lunch and breaks.

As the post is linked to the child, please note that should the child leave the school, the post would also end.

Alston Lane Catholic Primary School and Nursery is a single form entry school with a record of high standards and high expectations.

It is an excellent school for staff at all levels to develop professionally. We were graded good in our last Ofsted and demonstrate excellent religious provision.

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 30th August, at a mutually convenient time.

Essential Qualifications

NVQ level 2 or equivalent, appropriate to the post

GCSE English and maths Grade C or above, or equivalent functional qualificationEssential Experience

Working with children in an educational settingDesirable Experience

Experience of working in a Nursery or Reception classroom and supporting children aged 35 years
Experience of working with or caring for children with special educational needs
