_ About the role_
The Welfare and Safeguarding Officer will work under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team. To be the named Designated Safeguarding Lead for the School.
The successful person will play a vital role in contributing to the culture, ethos, and wellbeing of the school, by working closely to support families to remove barriers to learning or attending.
39 weeks, 37 hours a week Monday to Friday
The Welfare Officer will be joining a team of adults who have students' happiness and success at the heart of all they do.
We together as a united and aligned team to ensure every child is safe, happy, and learning at our school.

_ Who we are looking for_
Previous experience of providing classroom/behaviour support, working with children within a school setting.
Experience of establishing good relationships with children whilst establishing firm boundaries.
Experience of working creatively with children to identify strengths and development with children.
Experience of administrative procedures with evidence of capability to work on own initiative.
Educated to GCSE level grade C or above, including English and Maths, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience at that level.
