Reed Finance has engaged with an established, not-for-profit organisation in Belfast City centre, in the appointment of a full-time and permanent
Finance & Corporate Services Manager.
An accredited Investors In People organisation, at Gold Level, the incoming
Finance & Corporate Services Managerwill work closely with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team, in a context of change and transformation, and will play a pivotal role in the operational life of this value-driven organisation.
Financial Management
- Implement and oversee systems for the efficient and effective processing of all financial transactions
- Oversee the maintenance of and development of accounting and banking control systems
- Develop and update legally compliant finance procedures and operational finance manuals
- Implement the annual budgeting process, the reconciliation of key account controls and the preparation of management accounts.
- Provide accurate and relevant management information and reports as required
- Lead the completion of year end accounts / liaise with internal and external audit.
- Provide line management and support to a small team of finance staff
Human Resources
- Oversee the recruitment and selection of staff.
- Attend/lead on subgroups to work towards quality markers
- Interrogate PAMS for management information and ensure the systems utility
- Provide line management to the hr & payroll senior practitioner.
Central support services
- Ensure premises comply with health and safety standards
- Ensure administrative services are provided to programmes and the organisation

Application criteria:
- All applicants can be a part or fully qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician qualification (IATI, AAT or equivalent qualification or a CCAB recognised qualification)
- You will hold a recognised Human Resources qualification
OR a Leadership/Management qualification. - You will offer at least three years' management experience (or part time equivalent) including managing a team.
- Working knowledge of SAGE 200 Accounting Package would be advantageous
