Project Accountant

I am working with an Organisation based in Birmingham who are looking for a Project Accountant for 6 Months Initially with possible extension.

The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying £360 Umbrella per day. The role is in scope of IR35.
Job Purpose

The Project Accountant role is responsible for the recording and reporting of Project costs in line with the Government Finance Functional Standard.

The objectives are to ensure accurate project accounting, the creation and planning of projects and accountingof projects including capturing of data relating to time, costs, billing and forecasting.

Detailed forecasts are required for each project, with complex financial implications to reflect, and the post holder will ensure that these are accurate and regularlyupdated

Essential criteria:

  • Must be SC Cleared
  • Stakeholder management dealing with difficult people
  • Project Accountant experience
  • PS experience
