£25,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

What you'll be responsible for
As the site operator you will be responsible for:

• Being part of the Operating team that ensures treatment of sewerage and wastewater are to the required standards across multiple sites.
• Maintaining equipment and working with the team to rectify any issues.
• Ensuring compliance to required standards and procedures including Health & Safety
• Operating wastewater treatment works and associated water pumping stations to company BMS and Health & Safety requirements.
• Inducting, supervising and managing outside contractors carrying out capital maintenance breakdowns and projects ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety and BMS requirements and ensuring quality control.
• Coordinate with area Supervisor and team members on operating activities and to formulate effective and efficient cost reduction plans and savings.
• Support the health and safety assessment compliance monthly, providing supplementary evidence.
• Support to ensure that any operational incidents are managed effectively and in line with company procedures.
• Being an effective team player, supporting other team colleagues and promoting best practice and standardisation to improve business performance.
• Taking a rigorous approach to annual reviews of operational procedures whilst being able to deal with complex customer and asset problems. Assisting in the identification of investment requirements to improve service and reduce costs.

About you.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or higher in Wastewater Treatment Process Operations would be advantageous.
• Computer systems literate including SAP, Scope X, Exchange, Word and Excel are essential.
• Fully conversant with Company BMS procedures and Health and Safety requirement and control
• Experience gained in the industry with use of SCADA systems, Instrumentation and Mechanical and Electrical equipment would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience gained in the industry to ensure full compliance and adherence to all H&S issues.
• Awareness of regulatory bodies such as the EA.

• Working Hours are Monday to Friday
• You be required to partake in a standby rota.
• Valid Full UK Driving Licence required.

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
