Description
Do you have a passion for the visual arts and can deliver excellent customer service for a diverse range of visitors and customers? Would you like to work as part of a small, highly creative, and motivated team in an award-winning art gallery?

20-21 Visual Arts Centre is looking to recruit a friendly Retail & Customer Care Officer. Your role will mainly be based at the main entrance and the customer comfort facilities within the centre.

You will usually be the first person to greet visitors as they enter the building, so it is essential that you can give a warm welcome to all and be part of the experience that makes our visitors want to return.

This post would be ideal for those who have confidence and experience in retail selling and/or reception work and enjoy delivering a high standard of customer service and working with residents of all ages and visitors to the area.

The nature of the role means that excellent communication skills are essential so you can give clear information to visitors and customers in person, over the phone and in text communications.

As part of a dynamic team you will be needed to assist with room set-up and cleaning and ensure that the centre is always well presented, safe and ready for visitors.

You will need to be a team-player and have some flexibility in times worked as occasionally you will be needed to staff events outside of normal working hours.

This post will regularly work every Tuesday to Friday, every third Saturday and two Monday's a month. Please check the attached rota to view the shift pattern.

If this sounds like the ideal role for you and you can demonstrate that you meet all the essential criteria in the job description/person specification, then we would love to hear from you.

Please call to speak to Rebecca Leason/Ailsa Brasier for an informal discussion about the role on
