Manaba is seeking a reliable Primary Teaching Assistant for a full time, long term supply role for 1:1 and group work with a mix of KS1 & KS2 classes during the Spring Term 2024


Part time job shares will be considered, and a Teaching Assistant qualification and some experience with SEND would be desirable but not essential.


Responsibilities:


  • Working across the KS1 and KS2 age range
  • 1:1 and small group work, within the SEN unit and mainstream classrooms
  • Keeping safeguarding at the forefront of your mind
  • To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the schools.
  • Taking responsibility for your own Health and Safety at work, and to report any Health and Safety concerns.
  • Being committed to an 'opportunities for all' culture.

Requirements:


  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
  • Experience within a Primary classroom
  • DBS Enhanced Disclosure
  • References will be required
  • A passion for primary school education and maintaining standards
  • To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
  • Have the ability to engage all students
