Lead Portfolio Analyst/PMO responsibilities

Working closely with the Transformation PMO team, you will have responsibility for:

  • Line management of a team of Portfolio Analysts including recruitment, support and development of individuals (setting and managing performance, goals and objectives)
  • Ensuring appropriate governance processes are being followed within change initiatives and the needs of the products, projects and programmes are being met
  • Working with the PMO Management Team to fully understand the portfolio and pipeline of future change initiatives
  • Ensuring change initiatives have appropriate levels of Portfolio Analyst support at all times
  • Engagement with Sponsors, Initiative Owners, Programme Managers, Project Managers, Workstream Leads and other stakeholders to understand their Portfolio Analysis needs, ensuring PMO services remain fit for purpose and reflect best practice
  • Developing a culture that fosters high levels of collaboration and high performance within the team
  • Act as secretary for Groups and Committees, as determined by Transformation PMO Manager
  • Deputising for the Transformation PMO Manager as appropriate

Profile
Lead Portfolio Analyst/PMO experience

  • You will have credibility at all levels, with the confidence to engage and interact with a variety of stakeholders
  • You are a critical thinker, highly engaged and proactive
  • You enjoy being one step ahead by anticipating stakeholders needs, identifying and forecasting issues
  • You have experience of working across a variety of change initiatives e.g. IT, Business Change, programmes and projects, product teams, agile and waterfall
  • You have experience of managing people and/or teams
  • You are highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS project

Although not essential, you may also have:

  • A recognised PMO and/or Project Management qualification
  • Experience/awareness of the latest trends in the automotive industry

Job Offer
Up to £85K plus benefits and bonus
