Finance Payments Assistant

30 Hours Per Week

Circa £21,168 per annum (FTE £26,107)

We are recruiting for a Finance Payments Assistant to join our finance department based at our head office in Horsham.

The role will be working within the transactional finance team providing an efficient and effective accounts payable service for both internal and external customers.

The role will involve processing invoices, ensuring transactions on the ledger are accurate and that invoices are approved in accordance with company regulations.

The purpose of the Finance team is to provide an excellent finance service for the organisation and for both our internal and external customers.

The team is responsible for providing financial information and support to other business functions to enable them to operate effectively and efficiently, which relies on strong financial controls and maintaining accurate and timely records

To be successful in this role you will need to:

Have demonstrated experience in accounts payable work for at least 2 years
Be confident in using MS Office suite and financial software packages
Be a strong communicator, able to collaborate well with colleagues across the organisation
Have excellent attention to detail
Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
