About us:

Unisnacks is a U.K. based packaged food distribution business with Head Office in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Operating from its own purpose built Distribution Centre offering 90,000 sqft warehouse and state of the art office space.

We currently bring favourite snack food products from China, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam to the UK and 22 other countries in Europe.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our state of the art food manufacturing facility.

We have experienced tremendous success and are proud of our reputation for providing exceptional customer service and superior quality products.

The Role:

To assist with the manufacturing of food products according to the production plan.
Manage a team of 810 staff
Esnure H&S procedures are followed
Esnure to follow BRC guidlines
Inter departmental communcation with other departments such as the warehouse, QA, planning and engineering to ensure smooth running of the plan and no lost time

Ensure PPE is used where necessary

Investigate any H&S and/or food safety failings

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor quality standards for production, raising any concerns you may find.
Ensure hygiene, health & safety and food safety guidelines are followed.
Report any issues or breakdowns to the Production Manager/Engineers.

Experience

Experience working in a production, manufacturing, factory, or related role most ideally in food or beverage production.
Knowledge of food safety and food hygiene would be a great advantage.
Experience operating food production machinery is desirable.
Driving licence and own transport due to the location and start/finish times.
Monday to Friday
30 minutes unpaid lunch break
Overtimes as necessary.
