The Turret Medical Centre is a friendly, supportive and welcoming team who work hard to support the needs of the practice population.
Our clinical team consists of 4 GP Partners, a Practice Nurse and a Healthcare Support Worker.Our non-clinical team consists of a Practice Manager, a Deputy Practice Manager, an Administrator, 2 Senior Receptionist's and 5 Receptionist's.
Our Medical Practice is based in Kirkintilloch and we have around 7,000 patients.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable medical receptionist to join our team. Our receptionist's play an essential role in the practice and support with the smooth running of the practice.
The role of the receptionist is to be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and admin duties and the provision of general support to the multi-disciplinary team.
Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information, assisting patients as required, sign posting patients to the correct service, clinically coding data on EMIS, photocopying documentation, scanning patient related documentation and attaching to patient's health care records, inputting data into patients healthcare records as necessary, support in the management of prescriptions ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently, managing all queries in an efficient manner and supporting clinical staff with general tasks as required.
