Are you a Maintenance Engineer with experience in the Heavy Engineering industry? Are you looking for a new role based on days without heavy overtime demands? Then we have a fantastic opportunity for you We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Engineeringcompany based in Dudley looking to add an experienced Maintenance Engineer to the team.

What will your day to day activities as a Maintenance Engineer include?

This position will be based locally to Stourbridge working day shifts Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:15pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pm.

Responding to breakdowns, planning and recording preventative maintenance, maintaining inventory spares, and keeping records upto date.

This role will be a mechanical bias role requiring good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics but will also include basic electrical work.

An example of some of the equipment that this role will be responsible for would be:
power presses, drills,guillotines, press breaks and more.

What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?

A strong mechanical background with recent experience in a similar position.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience
Basic electrical experience /any electrical qualifications will be very advantageous.
Mechanical qualifications, from either an apprenticeship or college level course would be desirable.
Health and safety awareness.
A hardworking mentality.
An honest and reliable personality.
