Description

I am looking to recruit an Freight and Customs Operator with previous experience in Road and/or Sea and Air for a company based in Bracknell.

The role will be paying £25-34Kpa depending on experience, Monday to Friday, pm

Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential, and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries.

Full training and support will be given for this role where required.

Duties include:
Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment

Processing Import/Export declarations

Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates, and any other documentation requirements

Dealing with freight partners to ensure smooth collection, transit through customs points & delivery.

Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws, and customs procedures

Additional European language would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite.

Hours are 8:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
