Due to retirement, we now have a vacancy for a Field Trials Operative at our UK Research and Development Centres Activities include a ryegrass breeding programme, and the largest forage grass and amenity grass trialling programme in the UK.

We also play an important role in the marketing of products to the UK grass seed trade.

The Role:

Undertake a range of duties associated with trialling, breeding and harvesting of our grass varieties
Help to maintain the forage and amenity trials areas
Use agricultural machinery and equipment to measure grass yields, create, maintain, harvest and evaluate trial plots
Assist with seed cleaning and threshing
Help maintain and service machinery on site
Maintain the site to the standard required of a centre of excellence
Welcome visitors and provide a high level of customer service

Contract:
Full-Time Permanent

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.00 am pm
