Description

The post holder is part of the Service team at the Boldon depot, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and helping to work effectively to deliver and, where possible, exceed the budgeted service target for the depot.


They play a key role in the organisation and are responsible for scheduling of engineers jobs, seeing jobs from the quotation stage through to completion and supporting other colleagues within the depot to ensure targets are completed on time.


This is a customer-focused role that requires excellent communication skills, an ability to respond to changing demands and a focus on delivering the highest level of service.

The post holder assists with building relationships with customers to ensure the company's reputation is upheld with high quality service provided to ensure their needs are met and reoccurring business is secured.


Responsibilities:


  • Being a primary point of contact for customer and supplier requests, breakdowns, queries and orders.
  • Coordination and deployment of engineers in fastpaced, dynamic service environment using common calendar system.
  • Accurate and timely quotation of service work, maintenance agreements and engineer recommendations.
  • Identification and ordering of parts required for service, repair and breakdowns.
  • Management of supply chain to ensure timely delivery of parts and service kits.
  • Ensuring service/repair jobs are accurately cascaded to engineers to allow for effective handover and execution with tasks prioritised in order of true urgency.
  • Ensure service reports are processed in a timely fashion to allow for prompt invoicing.
  • Use of our CRM system (AESSOP) in accordance with our QA systems and with a view to continuously improving the processes in place.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Boldon Colliery: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
